Heatwave MXG250

Heatwave MXG250

Designed for dust, born from dust.

A launch film the cult eyewear brand, Heatwave. The brand's first Motocross Goggles - MXG250.
We see the product be born from an electrical storm catching glimpses of the product details through dust and smoke whilst showcasing the features before we show full product reveal to end. The film used a heavy use of C4D pyro along with Houdini. The result is a gritty yet sophisticated film that resonates with the motocross audience.

My role was Project Lead, I presented all stages of the project to the client, worked on the storyboard, Animation and Look Dev. It was a super fun project that we kept internal at Inertia apart from the product modelling and so everyone really got involved in crafting the shots and exploring different smoke sims, dramatic lighting and experimental cutaways.
